Today’s Verse:
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." Ephesians 4:2

Prayer for Today :

Heavenly Father,

The greek word "ταπεινοφροσυνη" is used at several places in the bible (Ephesians 4:2; Acts 20:19; Philippians 2:3; Colossians 2:23; Colossians 3:12; 1 Peter 5:5). The word means "modesty, humility, lowliness of mind". In this letter, Paul urges us to live a life worthy which is "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."

Father, by lowliness, understand humility, which means that we should put down our pride and by meekness, which means that we should walk humbly before God and man, we should walk according to the will of God.

Father, "Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth, you will again bring me up. (Psalm 71:20) In return, we should help the brothers and sisters around us.

In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
