Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for teaching us through Psalms. Thankyou for teaching us through the experience of Your faithful servant King David. Throughout Psalms, we can see and feel the many characteristics of King David, we can see very clearly the weakness of mankind, we can see very clearly the way he put his trust in You for each and everything.

Father, no matter what the outward circumstances look like, help us to bring our trouble and anxiety to You, through prayers, just like King David.

Father, let nothing separate us from You, let us be happy and joyful in any situation, by holding on to faith, hope and love in You, just like King David.

Father, let us have the willingness to admit and repent our sins to You, just like King David.

Lord, You know us better than we know ourselves, help us to search our hearts everyday, help us to earnestly admit to our sins in thought, word or deeds, help us to pray and repent to You. Lord, cast out all wickness that may take root in us and protect us from the evil so that we may, one day, enjoy the life of everlasting with You.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

How much plainer and simpler can you explain this truth to us? That You are our God, who is an absolutely and infinitely perfect being, who is above all comprehension and who has the sovereign over all things.

Father, sometimes we will become all grumpy and mad about our daily problems, remind us to be still and know that You are God. Remind us of Your great works and remind us to count our blessings. For You are our Almighty God, who will definitely deliver us from terrible things and show us Your greatness, mercy, power and sovereignty.

Father, forgive us for being ignorant, forgive us for having these childish, immature and juvenile unbelieving thoughts, forgive us for dishonouring You!

God, You promised that You will never leave us or forsake us, You promised to have a good plan for us, You promised to give us sufficient grace, You promised You will heal us and deliver us, You promised to continue to mold us and change us until the day of Lord Jesus.

Father, let us be still and dwell in Your calmness and anchor in Your peace.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are Your children. We should have characteristics like loyal, honest, kind, brave, loving, obedient, grateful and humble.

Father, we may not be as perfect as Jesus right now. Worsen, we may be in different stages of our lives right now, holding You responsible for our lives being messed up in one way or another. Father, Your grace is sufficient for us. Father, You give us free will and You promised that You will never leave us or forsake us. Anytime, when we are ready, You will welcome us into Your arms like the father of the prodigal sons.

Father, You are the architect and we are Your construction. Bit-by-bit, under Your caring and supervision, the bricks, beams and piles of sand will start taking shape in us. Maybe we are not what You have planned for us to be at the moment, but we trust You, we trust that You will continue Your good work in us.

Father, what's going on in our lives right now may be gloomy, maybe we cannot even see our future right now. But, Father, what we will be has not yet been made known to us yet, and when things come together, we will see Your good intentions.

Father, no matter how many times we fall, help us to stand back up by faith.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for this word of encouragement.

For years, we have built up all sorts of habits, good or bad. From our childhood, we learnt that we should brush our teeth twice everyday, we learnt that we should flush the toilet after use, we learnt that we should be polite, we learnt that we should go to church every Sunday and confess our sins...Still, we picked up some lousy and naughty routines on our way.

Lord, free us from these terrible additions, the strongholds in our lives. Grant us the strength to admit to our limitations, grant us the wisdom to figure out "evacuation" plans, grant us the endurance to carry out such plans, grant us determination to stay away from any temptation and grant us victory to win over our strongholds in Your glory.

Lord, we are also called to love our neighbours as ourselves. Help us to stand firm to our faith, so that we may spread Your words and encourage the people around us. Help us to learn to abide in Jesus so that His life can flow through us (John 15:7 KJV), so that through us, the people around us may be inspired.

Lord, nurture us, guide us and teach us how to live our lives for You, how to be good christians.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for loving us.

Everyday we are faced with different kinds of struggles, burden, distress, pain, sorrow and trials. Lord, we can solve a limited number of those tiny and minute ones solely by our own strength. But only by our faith in You and by Your immeasurable love could bring us through all these, together with courage, hope and preserverance.

Thankyou for teaching us love, through Your words. From that, we learn how to love and how to be loved. Through Your love, we have lives in abundance.

Father, help us to understand Your words better each day, encourage us to practice living by Your commendments and shape us into Christlike disciples. We confess all sins we have commited this day knowingly and unknowingly, we submit our lives into Your hands.

Lord, please continue to sustain us through Your extensive, giant, immeasurable and mighty love. We believe that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else could separate Your love from us.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Don't we all like rewards? After working really hard, we will reward ourselves, by going to a fancy restaurant for dinner, by seeing a movie, a stage play or an opera, and perhaps by going on holiday trips, to Japan, Europe or Australia.

We like to receive rewards / compliments from others as well, we will also welcome bonus, compensation, honour, prize or trophy.

God needs us to do His work in this world, the place which so many people need help every second. And, as His followers, we are taught to live upright, we are taught to be nice to people and we are taught to do good deeds all the time, wouldn't it be marvelous if God will reward us accordingly?

Lord, by listening more and more to Your words, we receive more and more nourishment on our spirits. This is already our greatest reward from You. Although, we also craved for all these earthly things, but we trust that You will give us only the best. Grant us peace in our hearts.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for teaching us to hold on to faith through this miracle, which is about Peter, accomplishing a seemingly impossible task - walking on the waters of the Sea of Galilee. He held on to faith, rested his eyes on Jesus and walked on water towards him.

Father, we understand that the water and storm in this story symbolised the problems we encountered in our Christian's lives. Father, teach us how to walk on water like Peter.

Father, help us to be like Peter, who obeyed Jesus' invitation, to walk towards him.
Father, help us to be like Peter, who trusted Jesus, got out of the boat and walked on the water.
Father, help us to be like Peter, who lost faith when he saw the fierce wind and waves, but cried out immediately to Jesus for help.
Father, help us to be like Peter, who recognised Jesus, as "Truly you are the Son of God."

God, don't we all like to arrive at our destination in spite of any troubles or severe problems on our way? God, make haste to help us. God, urge us to have the boldness to cry out to Jesus, when we experience difficulty, distress, nuisance, sorrow, trial, worry or tribulation. God, give us the confidence to hold out our hands, expecting Jesus, who will definitely catches us by his gracious hands and raises us above these seemingly impossible surroundings.

Father, though we may not walk across the water in ease, we may not walk across these faith-testing circumstances so simply, but do help us to hold on to faith, always. Because You are our Heavenly Father, who will never leave us or forsake us, who will definitely save us from sinking into despair, who will surely rescue us using Your miraculous powers when we cry for help.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

The discretion of a man is the deferreth of his anger? Father, slow to anger is very hard to do! Everyday, we face people with a temper, people who will raise their voices, people who will scream, people who will shout, people who will swear and people who will bring anger into action... What do You expect us to do? Not to show our anger? Not to fight back? Or let these people to slap our right cheek after they slapped our left?

Father, we know! Even when we have anger in our hearts, we should not show it immediately because we need time to reconsider whether we have offended the other person in the first place. Father, help us to forgive them, help us to assist these people, as there must be some previous wounds and hurts hampering them from the inside.

Father, so often our good intentions turned out to be disasterous. Father, so often we want to do good, but turned out sour. Father, it is hard to face up to the mistakes that are in our lives. Father, teach us how to forgive, how to excuse other's wrongdoings as well as to pardon ourselves from the guilt of wrongdoings.

Father, You are the way, the truth and the life. Help us to feel Your goodness, help us to gain strength in You, help us to become slow to anger and show us the way to practice forgiveness, just as Jesus who have forgiven those who mistreated him.

Grant this through Juesu Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

As mature christians, we always pray to you in all circumstances. We pray to share our everyday lives with You, Lord. We pray to worship You at church, Lord. We pray to express our hearts' desire, to express our gratitude to You, Lord. We pray to tell You about our day at work, our frustration, our joy and satisfaction, Lord!

Father, praying to You is our rights and we treasure that. Father, teach us to response to our "rights to pray" by communicating with others. By communicating with others, educate us to be a good listener, instruct us to be a good sharer and guide us to be a good preacher.

Father, we know that the more spiritually mature we become, the less we will “say” and the more we will “listen”. Thus, Father, don't give us milk and honey everyday, give us solid food! Allow us to grow in Your words and dwell in Your inspiration! Encourage us to console more, but to be consoled less, encourage us to understand more, but to be understood less and encourage us to love more, but to be loved less.

Grant this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

How often do we hear these great miracles, signs and wonders performed by false Messiahs, false prophets, and false apostles? Lord, these so-called political and religious leaders seduce us with their sweet tooth and polished speeches! Lord, help us to stand firm and resist these satan's baits, help us to be strong in You and stay away from these spiritual deceptions!

Jesus said "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.". Indeed! Father, we know You by our life experiences, by our knowledge in Your words and by our familiarity with Your followers. Father, we felt fastrated, angry, loose-hearted, disappointed, let down and puzzled when we didn't see "our wishes being granted", but, is this really a valid reason for us to leave You and go to other "gods"? Is this really a valid reason for us to sell our soul in exchange of fame, fortune or health?

Father, in the past, we tried to trust You with all our hearts and all our souls, but so often, we failed to do so, just like Thomas, who doubted Your powers. Father, refresh us today and make us new. Father, grant us courage to study Your words everyday. Father, grant us the wisdom to distinguish between the truth and deception. Father, grant us the faith to hold on to You when catastrophes hit us. Father, bless us, because we have not seen but have believed.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for giving us Jesus as our friends.
Thankyou for giving us fathers who love us.
Thankyou for giving us grandfathers who care for us.

Thankyou Heavenly Father, for promising to never leave us and forsake us, Thankyou for being with us always.

Lord, on Father's Day, bless those fathers who have taken upon themselves, the responsibility of parenting, bless those fathers who have lost their spouse, who are parenting their children alone and bless those fathers who are troubled by illnesses.

Lord, strengthen them so that they may continue to be loving and caring dads.

Lord, we may not be the most obedient children in the world, but please continue to mold us, shape us, into some loving children of Yours.

Dear Heavenly Father,

How wonderful would it be if the sky may stay blue always? Then we don't have to worry about the rain, the storm or any other natural disasters. Isn't life the same? How wonderful would it be if all of us may stay healthy, wealthy and in love? Then we don't have to worry about anything, but live our lives to the full potential.

Are we enslaved to the details of life? Are we being greedy? Are we striving for better qualities of life everyday? If so, when will be able to mature in Christ and rest in peace? Father, help us to realise what life really means. We don't have to live in Mid-Levels, to live in the best neighborhood in town to be happy!

Father, teach us to focus on You, above all earthly things. Father, teach us to be content. Father, teach us to rejoice in Your name, without concerning our status, whether we are well fed or hungry, whether we are living in plenty or in want. For we know that You feed the birds in the air, You clothe the lilies in the field and You dress the grass with Your splendor. How much more will You clothe us, feed us and care for us?

Father, teach us to be content and patient, in times of long-suffering. Father, hold us with Your powerful, gracious hands and lead us to accomplish Your purposes in our lives.

Dear Heavenly Father,

"Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get next." Under Your leading, we are at this point of life, about to pick up another piece of chocolate with expectation, praying for the best to come up. Lord, we may be waitiing for better opportunities, we may be waiting for healing and we may be waiting for a loving relationship to prosper. Lord, let us hold on to hope and let us be joyful always.

Lord, we may be in the middle of some strugglings or in the middle of the wind and turmoil of life's storm right now. Lord, we need You to listen to our cry for help and take away all our yoke, our burden, our misery, our troubles, my worries and our illnesses!

Lord, gladden our heart with Your holy presence, "Still" our souls and "hush" our thoughts. Lord, surround us with Your angels, safeguard us in everything that we do, protect us from all the unseen dangers. Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou to be with us now. Thankyou for loving us, in every second of our lives. Thankyou for Your warm embrace in times of need. Thankyou for Your acceptance for who we are. Thankyou for granting us all these wonderful gifts of life, health, friend and family.

Father, You have commended us to love each other and to love our neighbours as ourselves. Help us Lord, to love freely, friendly, peacefully and open-heartedly. Cleanse our impurities and grant us the courage to love.

Father, so often, we receive negative responses from people we try to love, some will ignore us or even distance themselves from us. Father, help us to face these responses with a positive attitude, encourage us, support us, sustain us, comfort us, nourish us, uplift us and assist us not to loose heart. Father, open our hearts and minds to accept such as love, as love that is inactive or unmotivated. Father, grant us the patience, not to arouse or awaken such love and the perseverance to wait until it so desires.

Father, Thankyou for loving us intentionally, unconditionally and lavishly. Thankyou for sharing Your joy and peace with us.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

For You, nothing is impossible.

In Genesis, there is this story about Sarah. God, You gave Abraham a promise that "your wife Sarah will bear you a son." Although, it looked practically impossible at the time, but Sarah had doubtless faith in You Lord and she gave birth to Issac in the end.

Father, You care about us, You listen to our prayers. Father, there is never anything too difficult for You to accomplish. Help us to have doubtless faith in You.

Father, we know that You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You are in control of all and everything. Father, we believe You, we believe that today could be the day that things turn around, today could be the day You remove the pain, the illness, the trouble, the discomfort, the misery, the unhapiness, the problems at work, the financial crisis, the sorrow, the distress, the trial, the grief, the hassale....all that is hindering our lives.

Father, grant us the miracles that we need today.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we pray earnestly to You today, hear our cry for mercy, pour out Your blessings upon us and overwhem us with Your joy and peace.

Lord, how we longed for our prayers to be heard? We pray that Your faithfulness and righteousness may come upon us in times of need, to relief us from pain and suffering.

Father, Thankyou for sending us Jesus who came and taught us the Lord's prayer. Father, as we pray the Lord's prayer, we are increasing our trust in You, we are putting our lives into Your hands and we are believing that You have our best interest at heart and You will be providing us with all our needs in every area of our lives!

Father, help us to know You better each day, as we exercise our faith and trust in You, while seeking Your kingdom in this earthly world.

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance." James 1:2-3


Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Everyday, we face trials of everykind. The most common challenge comes from the unbelievers, questions like "Does God exist? Are the claims of Christ true? How can I know?" Father, help us to try our best in answering such questions, however, help us to also understand that the true answers can only be from God and from the person's own investigation and experience.

Thankyou for teaching us through the book of James. Thankyou for giving us the formula "TRIAL => TESTING => PERSEVERANCE => MATURITY", through trial produces testing of faith, through testing of faith produces perseverance and through perservance produces maturity in Christ.

Father, when we are faced with hardships, unjust treatments, serious illnesses, financial crisis, or even a life of poverty without hope of improvement like James, help us to rejoice in Your name, help us to feel the honour to be tested in such circumstances, because God, You are faithful, You only wanted to give us the ability of patience and endurance, You only wanted to improve our quality of faith!

Father, it is wrong to stop trusting and start worrying merely because of these trials. Father, help us to rejoice in Your grace, help us to be humble, help us to continue to seek for happiness in and from You, so that one day, our faith — of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire — may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. (1 Peter 1:7)

May all the praise and worship be glory to God.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

We always make plans for today and for the future, plans to play, meet friends, do exercise, fellowship, bible study, shopping, reading, eating....and so on. Sometimes, we will praise You for such a wonderful day, that everything turned out smoothly, yet, most of the time, we will grumble and mumble to You because of some pleasant or not very amusing surprises came up.

Father, teach us how to rely on You and to lean on You in everything that we do. Father, teach us how to pray to You always. Father, teach us not to be anxious about anything. Father, teach us how to praise You and give Thanks to You despite of the circumstances.

Father, nuture us in Your words. Father, encourage us to give Thanks and praises to You, even when we miss some good opportunities on our way, things like a good parking space, good seats at the cinema, bus, food or job, because we know that You have our best interests at heart and You will grant us our hope in Your best timing.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

"You are my strength when I am weak, You are the treasure that I seek, You are my all in all" is one of the lines in the song we sang at church. Thankyou father, for such a wonderful song. Thankyou for sending us Jesus as our Saviour.

Throughout our lives, You have helped us in so many situations, when we were in distress, in sorrow, in frastration, in sickness, in trouble, in fear, in our waking up and in our falling down. You have been there with us, You are here with us now and You will be us in the future. Our hearts trust in You Lord.

God we know You are at work, we know you will prepare for us only the best. Though the miracle we need may not come today, we will continue to hold on to Your words of assurance, we will continue to wait for it to come with faith and hope. Our hearts will leap up with joy to praise and give thanks to You, as always, despite of our circumstances!

Lord, help us to continue to grow our faith in You everyday.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

As Your chosen people, we should have these qualities such as compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (Col 3:12) However, it is easier said than done. Sometimes, we will even hide from You and Your people, fear that our wrong deeds will be exposed.

Father, help us to repent, help us to confess our sins to You, so that we can live freely in Your light! For it is pricesless to be able to enjoy Your goodness, to dwell in Your unfailing love and to take refuge under Your wings.

Father, so often we became unsuccessful in the eyes of the world - lost moeny in the stock markets, made wrong moves, filed separation / divorce, bad tempered etc. Help us to know that it is okay to come to You despite of any circumstances. For You are God and we are Your children, You will be there for us, no matter what!

Father, by learning from Your words each day, mold us a little bit more into the likeness of Jesus, so that one day, we may be compassionate, kind, humble, gentle and patience.

Father, Thankyou for lighting up our lives.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are called to love each other, to fellowship with each other, as brothers and sisters in Christ. What is more wonderful than that?

Thankyou father, for giving us this fantastic gift. Not only that we can share our faith, our believe and our walk with You, but also through praying, eating and drinking together, we may show our support and give encouragement to each other as well. It is most comforting to know that You are always in the midst of our gatherings.

Father, show us the lost souls around us. Guide us to embrace these people in our lives who want to know You. Let us be God's good ambassador in the world.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for loving us unconditionally. Though, someone mentioned that we must ask before we can receive Your promises, however, we are sure that You will pave our paths and bless us abundantly no matter what. Lord, we believe You, we put our trust in You. Lord, let the streams of Your living water fill my heart and flow from within me.

God, every minute of our lives, we have the desire to grow in Your words. Teach us how to be grateful when we receive Your gifts abundantly. Father, for all that You have generously given to us, teach us how to be warm-hearted, teach us how to share Your generosity with others that are less fortunate.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for sending Your only son Jesus Christ into the world to heal us.

Lord, heal all the hurt that has ever been done to us and calm our souls, heal all the relationships that have been damaged by us and release our pain and groaning, heal all the pain, trouble, misery, illness, despair, adversity, burden, hardship, depression, tribulation and yoke that are irritating us and replace all our suffering with joy, replace all our bitterness with love, replace all our desperation
with hope and replace all our unbelieve with faith.

Lord, have mercy on us. Rest Your healing hands upon us. Send us Your healing powers to reach every cell of our bodies. Cleanse our souls and restore our bodies so that we can, once again, have the strength to praise You and worship You fervently.

Jesus said "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." So Lord, heal us by our faith.

Dear Heavenly Father,

When we feel lost and we are not sure about the future, let us know that You are there for us.
When we feel lonely and we are dwell into negative thoughts, let us know that You are there for us.
When we feel fastrated and we tend to bring out our anger in others, let us know that You are there for us.

Lord, we are like infants who need Your comfort all the time.
Lord, we need reassurance around the clock.
Lord, we need Your attention in every moment of our lives!

Father, Thankyou for listening to our prayers. Whether they are sincere, truthful, full of moaning, full of anger or full of praise, You listened. Lord I know that you've never given up on us and never will.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for Your unfailing love. Thankyou for senting Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to this world to be our light and our hope.

Lord, there are so many things which we hope for, health, success, security, peace, joy, love and more. Though, many times, things fell short of our expectations and they didn't turn out as we have hoped for. We didn't know why and we may never know why. God, send us Your blessings in such times of disappointment.

But we all know that love never fails. Lord, You are a loving God and we trust You. We trust that You will only prepare the best for us. We trust that You will only grant us what we have hoped for, in Your perfect timing. We trust that You didn't give us what we have hoped for, only because You have better plans and arrangements for us ahead.

Thankyou Father. We know that You are faithful and You will keep Your promises: to love us, to cherish us, to treasure us and to take care of us until the day we meet again.

God, we put our utmost confidence in You, for You will surely lead us to fulfillments far greater than anything we could attain for ourselves.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today is the anniverary of Tiananmen Square Massacre. Thankyou Father for reminding us that these people sacrificed their lives for what they believed.

Father, we cannot even start to imagine the number of Your fervent servants who died over the past 2010 years, trying to spread Your words. We would like to spend a moment to pray for them on this memorial day.

Father, we pray that out of Your glorious riches You will bless Your servants:
  • so that they may maintain solid family relationships, through the strength of Jesus Christ, for the devotion in full-time ministry, may cause all kinds of misunderstanding within the family.

  • and grant them wisdom, to handle their emotional feelings such as loneliness, discouragement and despair.

  • and grant them their physical needs, especially, financial support, which can be burdensome. We pray that God will supply their every need in His perfect timing.

  • so that they may have good physical and spiritual health. We pray that they will continue to have strong relationship with You, through daily devotion.

  • so that they may maintain good relationship with co-workers, for it is Your love that brings people together. We pray that, by learning the unselfishness, kindness, and humility of Jesus Christ, that they may resolve any personality conflicts and relationship struggles between them.

  • and grant them the ability to do and continue to do Your work.
Father, bless also Your servants' family, so that they may live healthy, safely and joyfully.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

God, You are so faithful, You are the God of second chances. In the story of Jacob, we learnt that he went to his father deceitfully, pretended to be Esau and received from his father, the blessings of the firstborn. Jocab left home for many years and returned finally. At the end, he received blessings from You. Father, Thank you for your teaching through the life of Jacob. It is inspiring to know that God, You have given him a second chance to live his life gloriously.

Lord, help us to forgive those who hurt us, help us to see through this pain and angry feeling which is torturing us. Help us to practice Your teaching "Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." Lord, if there are any hidden negative feelings in us toward the people who hurt us, cleanse us and help us to replace these negative emotions with Your fruitful blessings.

God, give us wisdom to manage our anger in the future.

Lord, help us to forgive ourselves. Help us to have the courage to ask for forgiveness from the people we hurt. Father, we ask You to heal us right now, heal the wounded places in our souls! Thankyou Father, for it is hard to face up to the wrong doings in our lives.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

So often, we're scared by the circumstances around us. So often, we believe in what we see and feel, hear and touch.

Jesus, help us all, to step out in faith, put on the armour of God and take our rightful moves towards our future. Remind us to believe and to trust in You, when we see the stings and arrows that Satan is firing at us. Remind us that we are not helpless, we are not weak. All we need is to turn our hearts towards You and walk boldly.

For everyday is a new day, a new opportunity to prepare ourselves to focus our minds and hearts on You Lord. Maybe we didn't look like a role model of faith yesterday, but it's never too late to grab hold of the second chance and try again today.

Pray in faith, without a doubt that God cares about you.
Pray in faith, without a doubt that God loves you.
Pray in faith, without a doubt that prayer is powerful and effective.

God is listening, He cares and He will help.

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Everyday, we are so close to "illness", big or small. We experience it through the news, patients, friends, colleagues, relatives or even ourselves! Father, heal us or anyone around us who is ill, with the touch of Your hand.

Father, You sent Your only son, Lord Jesus Christ, into this world to heal the sick and to endure our sufferings. We trust that You will surely heal us too.

Father, be the strength in our body this day, help us to be strong.
Father, be the energy in our body, help us to be able.
Father, be the toughness in our body, help us to be patience in times of pain.
Father, be the courage in our body, help us to endure the suffering.

Father, our Saviour, we depend on You, for our soul can only find rest in You. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13)

So that we may give praise and honour to Your name.
