Prayer for Today :
Dear Heavenly Father,
Sleep is essential for us. Not only it refreshes our souls and bodies, it helps to keep our heart healthy, it reduces stress, it improves our memory and it helps to control our body weight.
So, Father, grant us, Your children this gift. Father, cast away all fears or anything that is dwelling in our minds, making us unable to relax, for it is our priority to get sleep that is sweet.
Father, I trust You. Therefore, tonight and everynight, keep us in that perfect peace which You have promised us, keep our minds fix on You and You alone, wrap Your protective arms around us and give us the sense of Your presence.
Father, let us enjoy the blessed assurance of your love, in the hours of silence.

Prayer for Today :
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thankyou for teaching us through the challenging questions You posed to Job (Job 38-41). There are questions concerning the creation of the earth, sea and dawn; questions concerning inanimate nature such as depths and expanses of the earth; questions concerning animate nature like the nourishment for lions and ravens etc. None of which Job or anyone of us could ever answer.
Lord, we want to hear Your promises, take hold of them and believe in them. However, when troubles, worries or illnesses come along, our faith becomes so weak and fragile! Lord, remind us of Job, remind us that You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Lord, open our eyes to see Your wonderous deeds, turn on our ears to listen Your words.
Praise be to God for He is faithful, Amen

You are compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love.
Father, You promised that You'll never leave us nor forsake us. Father, Your words are like sunrise to us, they are so definite, clear-cut, indisputable, true, unmistakable and unquestionable.
Your love to us is as deep as the ocean, Your mercy, Your forgiveness... every area is beyond measure and understanding. Father, help us to walk in trust, in faith, with You everyday, knowing that we are Your children, knowing that we are worthy for Your all, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
God, You will definitely help us in every step of our way and grant us what we prayed for in Your timing. Thank You.

Prayer for Today:
God, thank you for teaching us through the life of Joseph (Genesis 37-50). Thoughout his life, he had experienced many trials. Because of jealousy and envy, his brothers planned to destroy him, conspired to kill him and betrayed him for silver coins. Then, once again, he was being accused of a crime that he didn’t commit.
Father, help us to apply this teaching into our lives. Everyday, we face so many situations which we feel are unfair or unjust. And sometimes, we are unable to see the way out!
Lord, help us to apply Joseph’s kindness to the brothers and sisters who are against us. Lord, encourage us to apply Joseph’s forgiveness to the brothers and sisters who hurt us. Lord, inspire us to apply Joseph’s graciousness and thoughtfulness to the brothers and sisters who deliberately distance themselves from us or ignore us.
Because Father, we have faith in You, for whatever people intended to do for bad , You changed it for good.

Heavenly Father,
It is always hard to forgive people who hurt us. Although we tried so hard to justify our unforgiveness with all sorts of excuses like pride, anger, rejection, resentment, refusal, etc., it is not right.
God, this unforgiving feeling is suffocating us, we need Your aid, fast! Help us to forgive the people who have hurt us. Give us faith to love these people with Your love, which is so kind and gracious.
Father, even though Jesus taught us to forgive our brothers and sisters who sinned against us, "not seven times, but seventy-seven times", it's easier said than done. But Father, help us to have unconditional grace by taking the initiative to forgive, as the first step, and then gradually build us, mould us and change us until the day we fully understand the true meaning of forgiveness.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Thankyou for loving us by Your grace. Although we may be disobedient, rebellious, stubborn or naughty sometimes, You will always love us as Your children. Thankyou.
Jesus said "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you." Thankyou Father, for this is a promise that had been signed, sealed, and delivered to us, through the blood of Jesus Christ. With Your promise, we can now graciously, enjoy resting our souls in this sweet, quietness of peace.

Heavenly Father,
Reveal to us any destructive habits that we have in our lives. Over the years, we have attempted to change them but failed to do so. May You graciously grant us the strength and confidence we need, to breakthrough, each and everyone of them. Set us free from these burdens!
God, may we give Thanks to You, for strengthening us day by day. We are still learners, trying to know how to trust and to lean on You in all that we do; but so often, we are so easily affected by our circumstances . Therefore Father, increase our faith in our daily walk with You and encourage us to focus upon You, and not upon our problems.
Thank God for being our refuge and strength. No matter what we are going through in our lives now, we have the blessed assurance of Your love and presence. May You grant us peace so that we may rest in Your promises calmly, quietly and restfully.

Heavenly Father,
Life is like a journey on a train. Sometimes, we will get on and off the train, and we will see people getting on and off the train, sometimes, we will be at the platform, patiently waiting, sometimes, we will see people saying goodbyes at the "departure" or cheers at the "arrival".
O God, where are we today?
Lord, we know, wherever we go, You are always there for us. But there were times, when we were too focused on our situation, that we didn't hear Your calling. So please, help us Father, to hear You more clearly, and be able to answer You with "Here I am Lord".

Heavenly Father,
We are weak, in many areas, it is very easy for us to just stumble and fall. Father, remind us to take our lives one day at a time, grant us the endurance, hardiness, resilience, robustness, ruggedness and toughness that we need to go through this day from dawn till dust.
I pray that You will tell us more, about the paths You have arranged for us this day, so that we can be at the right place, at the right time, to receive Your blessings and to experience thy goodness.
God, I pray that You will bring us to the right words each day, so that we will know You more, and will also increase our faith in You. Help us to relate Your teachings into our everyday lives, in all that we do and say. May we serve as a living example to the non-believers around us.
God, most important of all, "Give us each day our daily bread", so that we'll have strength to do Your will, Thankyou for acknowledging and fulfilling our daily needs, we DO need Your support very much.

Thankyou for being here, there and everywhere. Thankyou for listening to my cry as I called out to You, to ask for Your Almighty help (Isaiah 58:9) Thankyou for Your promise "I am with you always, to the very end of the age (Matt 28:20), it is very comforting indeed.
Thankyou for giving us grace. Father, help us to see Your grace not only as "a gift from God" or "God’s unmerited favour." but, more, for with Your grace, we can go through any degree of heartbreaks, sorrow, anguish, grief or distress.
Father, may we deepen our relationship with You everyday, through communications with You in prayers.

Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father,
Thankyou for sending us Jesus Christ, Your son, to this world to save us. We are sinful but yet, through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we became pure. Lord, we are so glad our relationships have been restored by Jesus' blood and that we can once again, be able to enhance our relationship with You through prayers.
Father, it is exciting to learn about Your promises to us, always giving us hope for our future. Please remind us and keep on reminding us that the sufferings of this world are just temporary, and that we should keep our focus on You and You alone, instead of these earthly values.
So, let us be full of joy, now. Let us give Thanks for our sufferings and our trials. Why? Because Father, You are our loving God, Thankyou for molding us with all these sufferings and trials, so that we will be stronger, through endurance and perseverance. Heavenly Father,
Who doesn't need comfort on a daily basis? In times of joy, in times of sadness, in times of ... Father, in times of everything, we need You. Your Word says “as a mother comforts her child, You comfort us.” So I boldly ask You now, for Your cheer, Your consolation, Your support, Your encouragement and Your strength, be shred on us and filled our lives with them abundantly.
God, You are an awesome God. I thank You for knowing our needs. For that we want to worship You and give You all glory and honour in the work that we do today.
God, help us to reach out and comfort others as You Father, have comforted us. Give us wisdom, as what to say, when we try to comfort others. Help us to be sensitive, tender-hearted and responsive.
Father, picks up our tears and turn them into pearls.

O Lord, sometimes, life looks pretty groomy. Sometimes, we will complain to You Lord, like Job or Jonah, but of course we don't mean it at all; we say it because we need Your care and attention.
So Father, give us the strength to bear our heavy burdens, let us once again, feel Your warm and compassion love for us. Shred mercy upon us, while we struggle to comprehend life's hardships. When we feel weary, be the light of our paths and guide our steps.

Heavenly Father,
In our everyday lives, word and deed, we are tempted to be lazy. Sometimes, we will complete the jobs with delays, tasks such as tidying up the room, feeding the fish, watering the plant, putting laundary into the wash, completing the report for boss etc. But God, remind us, that there is one daily task, which we should never forget or have it delayed, and that is to pray to You.
Almighty God, in our common daily tasks today, please send us help, mold us to be an upright person, grant us confidence and build us up. Lord, sometimes, all we need is merely an encourgement from You. So Lord, remind us today and everyday, to pray to You for Your continued blessings, provision and protection. Lord, I know, wherever I go, You'll always be around to look after me.
God, You are my fortress and my deliverer, who shall I trust but You!

Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father,
You know us so deeply that You even know how many pieces of hair we have on our heads. Lord, you ask us to "Pray always", but we do have this question in our mind all the time, "You know everything already, then why God? why will us still to pray to You?"
Father, help us to understand that prayer is about building the relationship with You. The situation was like a father oversaw his son/daughter playing at the playground, the father knew what had happened, but he would be delighted to hear it personally from his kids.
Father, when we pray, we draw our soul close to You. When we do that, we'll feel Your presence much solidly. May Your presence in our lives, not only bring positive impact to us, but also increase our understanding in Your words. May our prayers will always be pleasing in Your eyes.

Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father,
You know us so deeply that You even know how many pieces of hair we have on our heads. Lord, you ask us to "Pray always", but we do have this question in our mind all the time, "You know everything already, then why God? why will us still to pray to You?"
Father, help us to understand that prayer is about building the relationship with You. The situation was like a father oversaw his son/daughter playing at the playground, the father knew what had happened, but he would be delighted to hear it personally from his kids.
Father, when we pray, we draw our soul close to You. When we do that, we'll feel Your presence much solidly. May Your presence in our lives, not only bring positive impact to us, but also increase our understanding in Your words. May our prayers will always be pleasing in Your eyes.

Today’s Verse:
"What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil." Job 3:25-26
Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father,
Sometimes we are so easily trapped by our fears. We will ask lots of questions, with most (if not all) of them begin with "What If". As the tension is building up, so is our feeling of fear. At the end, the fear will overwhelm us so much, that it will hold us back from accomplishing anything, which we're created to accomplish.
Lord, please give us Your love and Your power to replace the feeling of fear. Your perfect love stand out like confirmation, as it is written in the bible "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)
Father, it is hard to comprehend Your love and Your promises if we have fears in our heart. So Lord, please remind us always, to put on the full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18), to guard us from the "fear" that satan uses to attack us.
You promised that You'll never leave us or forsake us Lord. We are grateful that You walk with us, in times of pain and trouble. You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, who shall we trust but You?

"Therefore, this is what the LORD God Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'Listen!... I spoke to them, but they did not listen; I called to them, but they did not answer.' " Jeremiah 35:17
Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father,
Thankyou for planning a good life and a prosperous future for us. Help us to obey You in every area of our lives, so that we may reach the goodness of the future at the earliest timespan.
Lord, help us to be good listeners to Your voice speaking to our hearts. So often, we choose not to listen to You because of our busy lives. Lord, we will be so easily tempted to make the wrong decisions by not listening to You! And we surely not want to look back over our lives to these words and deeds that were not delighted in Yours eyes.
Heavenly Father, give us visions of Your almighty plans for us. Enlarge our hearts and minds to understand how You can take us from where we are to where You want us to be. Enable us to see our surroundings from Your perspective.

"So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them." Matthew 6:31-32
Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father,
Sometimes, when our lives are in crossroads, we don't know what to do or which way to go. Should we take a left turn or a right? Or should we take one step backwards or should
we just wait?
Lord, we have to make decisions everyday. We're scared when we come to bold decisions. We're always troubled by "Whether to take this or that?" Father, help us to remember that You are there with us, and Thank you for giving us "free will". For this, we do not have to waste our time on unnecessary concerns, since we only need to look upon You and follow our heart's desire, saying "God, help me to think clearly and grant me a gentle spirit. I am making this, I do not know whether it is the best, but my heart desires to go for this. God, grant me peace in my heart as reassurance."
Lord, You are the one who prepares us for tomorrow, You are the one who keeps us out of the cold, let us learn how to lean on You, for all the bold and courageous decisions we need to make. Grant us security in You.

Today’s Verse: "See how I love your precepts; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your love." (Psalms 119:159).
Prayer for Today:
Father God, Thank You for giving us the ten commendments. The greatetst commendment is ""Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." (John 13:34)
Father, everyday, we face so many challenges, finance, health, relationships, work etc. Help us Lord, to release all these burdens to You. Knowing that You care about us and will definitely carry us through, because You'll only prepare for us the best.
Dear God, sometimes we need lots of earthly material to feel secure, especially money...For example: Trying to strive for saving more money in the bank, get a bigger house, achieve a bit more status at work etc. Help us to understand that everything is under Your gracious plan for us. Is it not true that You only tell us to concentrate on "the present" in the Lord's prayer? Only to ask for "Daily Bread"?
Lord, today and everyday, let us learn how to dwell in Your love, treasure Your gentle embrace as You hold us.
Father, grant us provision in everything and let us enjoy to live in Your abundance.
