Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father,
Life is like a journey on a train. Sometimes, we will get on and off the train, and we will see people getting on and off the train, sometimes, we will be at the platform, patiently waiting, sometimes, we will see people saying goodbyes at the "departure" or cheers at the "arrival".
O God, where are we today?
- If we are at the platforms patiently waiting, will You be our guide and companion?
- If we are on the train, will You remind us not to "just sit there & dwell in the darkness", rather to look at the beautiful scenary outside the window You have prepared for us? Will you also be there with us and send us some friendship along the way, some little shade from the sun, some mantle against cold and rain and some "favours" from people around us?
- If we are "on the way" to and from platforms, will You look after us? Say, putting a cushion on slippery paths, and make sure we don't stumble and fall?
Lord, we know, wherever we go, You are always there for us. But there were times, when we were too focused on our situation, that we didn't hear Your calling. So please, help us Father, to hear You more clearly, and be able to answer You with "Here I am Lord".
In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
