Today's Verse:
"to be made new in the attitude of your minds" Ephesians 4:23
Heavenly Father,
This is the day the Lord has made, we should rejoice and be glad in it.
Let's look at our attitude today:
Can we start thinking in God's way today? It may feel strange to us at first. It is exactly like putting on new shoes which may not feel comfortable to us immediately, but as time passed by, they may be comfortable. So, let's continue to put on our new thoughts starting from today and practice our thinking in God's way!
Let's say:
(a) Practice to be nice to others - from your heart
(b) Practice to go to church on Sunday
(c) Practice to tithe to God
(d) Practice to speak the truth
(e) Practice to praise God
Heavenly Father, we want to want with You and walk in Your shoes. We want to be as perfect as Jesus, well, at least, kind and compassionate. God, help us to practice to kindness and change our attitude a tiny bit everyday. May we serve as an aid towards extending Your boundaries.
In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
Inspired by the prayer from "Hour of Power": Lord, Today I pray for people around the world. I forget my own needs and focus on the needs of others. Lord, bring to my attention faces and voices, minds and lives from lands near and far. What a mixture of human personalities You have created. Send Your Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, over the nations, crossing all borders and barriers. For this I pray. Amen.

Today's Verse:
"Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." – Matthew 5:5
Heavenly Father,
It is easy to loose our temper when we're being pushed, threatened, or mistreated. If we can only remember to be "MEEK", then things will definitely be changed by God's grace and mercy:
M—Mighty strength to help others
E—Emotion balanced, in control of own feelings even through ups and downs
E—Educable, willingness to learn
K—Kind, willingness to forgive and forget
Father, it is easy to hold our angry towards someone or something, but if we do that, who is the ultimate sufferer? Father, help us to practice "forgive and forget", help us to remember Your grace is greater and wider. Father, for we know that we should and we could never seek our "revenge" or "return" from the person or the thing we are angry about, but God, You have promised that for any injustice we faced because of You, You will return us "Double". So Father, help us to focus on You, humble and open ourselves to Your uncountable blessings!
In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.

Today's Verse:
Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” - Luke 8:50
Heavenly Father,
Today's verse is about a man named Jairus. The parable described the event of Jesus, performing the miracles of raising from the dead of Jairus, and the healing of the woman with the some kind of gynecological disease. This was the second instance of the Lord raising the dead.
What does the future hold?
We all have dreams, we all have something that we want from our lives. Maybe we want a companion, maybe we want fame, love, joy, peace, health, wealth, friendship, youth, trust, protection, passion, richness and so many more... But ultimately, what do we actually need? There's a chinese saying: However rich you are, you only need to 3 * 6 Ft to sleep at night. Isn't that true?
We may have lots of assets. So? Can we exchange that for a decendant? Can we exchange that for God's blessings?
Father, we surrender all our problems and worries to You today. We cast all our financial, physical and spiritual needs to Your Divine love and care. Let love flows into our lives. Let money flows into our lives. Let peace flows into our lives.
Father, release us from sinful thoughts, release us from our worries of "tomorrows". Father, Jesus can raise the dead, You can surely raise us and bless our lives with abundance.
In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.

Today's Verse:
"In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. " Psalm 5:3
Heavenly Father,
There's this song sang by Cat Stevens "Morning has broken, like the first morning, Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird, Praise for the singing, praise for the morning, Praise for the springing fresh from the word."
Father, isn't this encouraging? The message is so simple, just image that everyday is a new day, a fresh day. That we don't need to think about what's passed, that we only need to focus in that very moment when we woke up. Yes, Father, that we may wake up every morning expectedly, to receive Your grace and blessings. Yes, Father, that we may wake up every morning to say praise and worship to You. Yes, Father, that we may wake up every morning to find the path You have ready for us, to enjoy, to love, to meet new people, to cherish the people we already know and to help the ones that are in need.
Father, Thank you for giving us brand-new hope everyday, as sure as the sun rises up from the east.
In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.

Today's Verse:
"You are my King and my God, who decrees victories for Jacob." Psalm 44:4
Heavenly Father,
"Thou art my King, O God."
Who is our King? To whom should we put our trust and faith in, other than our King?
From Jacob's long life, we know that it was crowded with trials and deliverances. So, our life maybe full of trials right now, but through his story, Father, that we can be sure that You will deliver us, one day. Perhaps, Father, You can send Your blessings to us right now and through preserverance, let us wait for our rescue to come?
Father, the many victories Israel obtained, were not by their own strength or merit, but by Your favour and grace.
Father, let's keep our eyes on You and You alone, despite the life storm around us and the turnmoil that we're in. Father, let us have faith in You, believe that You are just and merciful God, who loves us and who will reward us for all the good deeds we have done, in Your timing.
In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
