Today’s Verse:
"and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace." Ephesians 6:15
Prayer for Today :
Heavenly Father,
Equip our feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
There are always spiritual warfare and suffering going on around us, for this reason, we need You to grant us sufficient strength and courage for everyday life. Father, we are weak, Father, we are always so weak and are so easily be temped to sin. Father, sometimes we feel that we don't deserve You, don't deserve Your grace, Your love, Your forgiveness etc., yet Father, You are always around us, so patiently, You'll listen to us, You'll grant us peace and grace.
Father, the Christian armour is made to be worn; we need to wear it properly so that we may be protected. Father, give us strong faith to resist satan, so that he will flee from us. Father, we must never give way and let him get ground. Father, in order to protect our "ground", therefore, help us to get our legs protected, so that we may stand firm, as we march forward in rugged paths. Father, give us the patience to prepare ourselves by gaining a clear knowledge of the gospel.
Father, let us pray to You always, publicly, privately, secretly, in groups or in solitary. Father, let us confess our sins, petition for mercy and praise You for favours.
In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
HOUSE OF PRAYERS and PRAISES
Inspired by the prayer from "Hour of Power": Lord, Today I pray for people around the world. I forget my own needs and focus on the needs of others. Lord, bring to my attention faces and voices, minds and lives from lands near and far. What a mixture of human personalities You have created. Send Your Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, over the nations, crossing all borders and barriers. For this I pray. Amen.

Today’s Verse:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed…." – 2 Timothy 2:15
Prayer for Today :
Heavenly Father,
It is true that if we do our best, we need not to be ashamed - Either of unfaithfulness or unskilfulness?
Father, we can faithfully perform our duties, so that when we look over what we have done, we may not ashamed.
Father, we can present to you only our best and our best only. We know that if You assigned us to work at some places, we'll put on our very best to work with our co-workers and our jobs. Father, help us to control our temper and stop being harsh on ourselves, whether on the outcome of the job or the putting the quality burden on to our own shoulders. Father, we can do our best and more than our best with
Christ who supports us, however, do grant us the serenity to accept that the end result may not be the one we expected and that it is "out of our control".
Father, when we honestly have attempted our ultimate best, help us to realise that we are successful already! Thank you for having the confidence in us, and give us the opportunities to attempt "the unachievables".
In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
