Today’s Verse:
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalm 139:23-24

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thankyou for teaching us through Psalms. Thankyou for teaching us through the experience of Your faithful servant King David. Throughout Psalms, we can see and feel the many characteristics of King David, we can see very clearly the weakness of mankind, we can see very clearly the way he put his trust in You for each and everything.

Father, no matter what the outward circumstances look like, help us to bring our trouble and anxiety to You, through prayers, just like King David.

Father, let nothing separate us from You, let us be happy and joyful in any situation, by holding on to faith, hope and love in You, just like King David.

Father, let us have the willingness to admit and repent our sins to You, just like King David.

Lord, You know us better than we know ourselves, help us to search our hearts everyday, help us to earnestly admit to our sins in thought, word or deeds, help us to pray and repent to You. Lord, cast out all wickness that may take root in us and protect us from the evil so that we may, one day, enjoy the life of everlasting with You.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
