Today’s Verse:
Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!" He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. - Matthew 8:24-26

Prayer for Today :

Dear Heavenly Father,

So often, we're scared by the circumstances around us. So often, we believe in what we see and feel, hear and touch.

Jesus, help us all, to step out in faith, put on the armour of God and take our rightful moves towards our future. Remind us to believe and to trust in You, when we see the stings and arrows that Satan is firing at us. Remind us that we are not helpless, we are not weak. All we need is to turn our hearts towards You and walk boldly.

For everyday is a new day, a new opportunity to prepare ourselves to focus our minds and hearts on You Lord. Maybe we didn't look like a role model of faith yesterday, but it's never too late to grab hold of the second chance and try again today.

Pray in faith, without a doubt that God cares about you.
Pray in faith, without a doubt that God loves you.
Pray in faith, without a doubt that prayer is powerful and effective.

God is listening, He cares and He will help.
