Today’s Verse:
"When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD." - Exodus 34:29

Prayer for Today :

Heavenly Father,

Is it the human nature to have doubts? Father, don't we all like to question on things we are uncertain about, things we consider questionable or unlikely and then we would hesitate to believe?

Sometimes, we are tempted to say "If you are really God, then make this happen!" Father, when we feel weak and we want to demand for Your help, remind us of Jesus, who was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. He who said "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'" What good it is to say that "we believe" but yet "not trust"?

The verse today came from the story of Moses, who came out of the mount, where he get intimate communion with God, without interruption, for forty days and forty nights, and neither eat nor drink. He came down from the mount, feeling greatly enriched and miraculously adorned. Moses’s face was glowing, because God want to show great honour to him.

Father, we always look for Your help. Although we could see Your greatness in our lives, we still doubt Him sometimes. Questions like :Will my help come? Will He come this time? What if He had come already? ... Father, maybe Your love isn't always showy, maybe Your grace isn't always easy to be recognised, but I choose to trust You, today and everyday of our lives.

In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
