Today’s Verse:
Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:12

Prayer for Today :

Heavenly Father,

The verse is about King David who used a stone to erected a memorial of victory, to the glory of God, and to encourage Israel future generations. Praise God!

Father, for how many times we were like the Israelians who saw Your miracles one second, amazed by them one second and then forgot all about them right away? Father, turn our eyes to the heavens, so that we may get wisdom and gain deeper insights on matters.

Father, let us praise You, more and more each day. Help us to be more confident about who we are in You. Father, help us to look beyond our own individual circumstances, help us to have the courage to get out of our tunnel vision. Father, help us to gain faith in You, help us to remain faithful to You, multiple the ounces of faith we have now and let it remain growing in our hearts.

Father, we do not live by bread alone, everyday is a new opportunity for us to focus our minds and hearts on You and Your purposes for us. "Nothing is impossible with You", Lord, we Thank You for all the miracles in the past adn the miracles that are to come.

Let us make our "Ebenezer" today too.

In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
