Today’s Verse:
"Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare." - Psalm 40:5

Prayer for Today :

Heavenly Father,

We are overwhelmed by the questions You have raised to Job in chapter 38, like "Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?", "Who marked off its dimensions?" or "Who stretched a measuring line across it?"... Many, Lord my God, are the wonders You have done!

There is this hymn called "Look at the world" and there are several lines which touched all our hearts:
"Look at the earth bringing forth fruit and flower;
Look at the sky, the sunshine and the rain;
Look at the hills, look at the trees and mountains,
Valley and flowing river, field and plain;"

Father, when we look at the nature and things around us in depth, it is not hard to appreciate that there's a God, who cares about us, there's a God who govern this world. Father, You have the power to control all and everything in this world for You are the Lord of Lords and King of Kings! Father, only You have the power to cut a channel for the torrents of rain or a path for the thunderstorm. Father, nothing is impossible for You! So, please Father, guide our ways and teach us our paths, help us to follow You with faith and trust. Father, although we may not see our miracles right now, we still choose to believe in You, to believe in Your timing, to believe that You will make everything work together eventually for our benefits.

In Christ's glorious Name we pray, Amen.
