Today’s Verse:
"being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness."" - Romans 4:21-22
Prayer for Today :
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thankyou for testing our forefather, Abraham, who sustained many difficult circumstances through his unbreakable faith.
God, You are the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. We all know that You are in control of everything. Help us to hold onto faith like Abraham, if we feel that we are being let down by our circumstances.
Father, so often, we judge our situation and think that there is no hope, no future, for something that we believe to be impossible.
Father, help us to hold onto Your hopeful faith, like Abraham, that what God has promised will come to pass no matter what the limitation there might be. (For Abraham, "So shall your offspring be" seemed to be impossible in his age.)
Father, help us to hold onto Your strong faith, like Abraham, that what God has promised will come to pass no matter what obstacles and impossibilities there might be. (For Abraham, it is "old age" and Sarah's dead womb)
Father, help us to hold onto Your unwavering faith, like Abraham, that what God has promised will come to pass no matter how long we have waited in prayers. (For Abraham, he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God)
Father, help us to hold onto Your convinced faith, like Abraham, that what God has promised will come to pass no matter how doubtful the promise might seem. (For Abraham, he was fully convinced by the promise of God)
Father, Thankyou for sending Your son Jesus Christ to this world and died for us. Father, Thankyou for giving us salvation. Father, Thankyou for being our righteous God.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
